Caption a finished video using your included minutes.
A new 10-minute video uses 10 caption and transcription minutes once. Its initial render, revisions, exports, and rerenders are included.
Cut, reframe and refine clips with editing and rendering included.
Optional transcription uses only newly transcribed media still retained in the timeline. Auto scene detection, edits, exports, and rerenders use no additional minutes.
Cut first, then transcribe only the 10 minutes still in the timeline: 10 of 300 caption and transcription minutes. Zero AI credits. Transcribing before you cut would use 180 minutes, so SlicePost warns you before that work starts.
Manual timeline changes, uploads and downloading existing exports use no credits within your plan limits.
Use the saved transcript across tools. Initial renders, later edits, exports, and rerenders add no second processing-minute charge.
Included minutes renew monthly without rollover. At the limit, upgrade or wait for renewal. AI credit packs do not extend editor or caption allowances.
Pay for a year upfront; receive the same credits each month. Unused subscription credits roll over one extra month, capped at twice your monthly grant.
25 / 100 / 300 GB by plan. Sources, proxies and exports all count. Sources stay up to 30 days; exports up to 90 days, within your limit.
Sources up to 3 hours / 10 GB. Up to 15 clips per job; 1080p / 30fps exports. Proposed plans and packs are not available to purchase yet.

Choose a plan first to see optional one-time credit packs. Extra storage is available separately.
Packs are one-time purchases with a 365-day expiry. They require an active paid subscription to use. Canceling your plan preserves their original expiry, but you must subscribe again to spend them. Packs do not add storage, seats or concurrent jobs. No automatic top-ups.
Or $60/year, billed upfront. Add up to five blocks to a paid plan. This expands your capacity; it does not add processing credits or extend the normal retention period. Choose the same billing period as your plan.
Sources, proxies, audio and exports all count toward storage. At the limit, remove media or add capacity before uploading or starting work that needs more space. Existing downloads remain available until the media expires. No surprise storage bill.
Storage is planned on Cloudflare R2 Standard. Included allowances and add-ons are customer prices, not a pass-through cloud invoice. All prices are USD before applicable tax and remain subject to cloud cost validation.

Every paid plan includes Clipping, the Clipping Editor and Caption Maker. Posting & Calendar are included with Creator and Studio. Start with the credits and storage you need; higher tiers add room for more work and teammates. Studio has three recurring credit options. Creative quality does not change between paid plans.
Clipping uses one credit per analyzed source minute. Initial clips and later edits or rerenders of those clips are included. A 10-minute source costs 10 credits whether it yields one strong clip or the requested batch. Standalone Clipping Editor and Caption Maker work uses separate included minutes. Try the workload calculator.
One minute of newly transcribed retained media in Caption Maker or the standalone Clipping Editor. Caption Maker transcribes its video automatically and charges that duration once. In the Editor, transcription is optional and uses only the source ranges still present in the timeline. Cached transcript coverage, scene detection, editing, exports, and rerenders are included.
Choose an optional one-time pack after selecting any paid plan, or increase your recurring allowance with a plan upgrade. Studio offers 850, 1,700 or 2,550 credits per month. There are no automatic top-ups or surprise overage charges; a job that needs more credits waits until you have enough.
The Studio slider changes your recurring subscription price and monthly AI credit grant. Included editor/caption minutes, seats, storage and simultaneous jobs stay at the Studio limits. A one-time pack adds AI credits once, expires after 365 days and requires an active paid plan. It does not extend included editor/caption allowances.
Pay for the full year upfront at a lower effective monthly price. Credits still arrive monthly, not all at once. Starter is $192 per year ($16/month), Creator is $396 ($33/month), and base Studio is $888 ($74/month). Choosing more Studio credits updates both its annual total and monthly equivalent.
The proposed subscription lets you stop the next renewal and keep paid access through the end of your billing term. Upgrades show the prorated price and credit change before confirmation. Downgrades take effect at the next paid-term renewal. An annual plan is a year-long purchase; canceling its renewal does not automatically refund the remaining months.
The planned cloud account will show AI credits, caption and transcription minutes, storage and expiries separately. This page previews the revised allowances. Live account balances and billing are not connected in this preview.
Yes—working on your own content and authorized client footage is a core use case. Your subscription covers the editing tools; it does not grant rights to someone else’s footage, music or likeness. Earnings depend on your client agreement, campaign requirements and platform rules. SlicePost is not affiliated with Content Rewards and does not guarantee payouts.
Current exports are 1080p. We are evaluating 4K for Creator and Studio, but it is not an included entitlement yet. The comparison above shows the export quality currently supported.
Checkout is not live, and the final cash-refund policy will be published before subscriptions open. The proposed credit corrections for technical failures and the limited quality guarantee below are separate from cash refunds. Billing errors and any legally required refunds will be handled under the checkout policy.
You see a breakdown before transcription, clipping, or Caption Maker starts. Exports, rerenders, and auto scene detection are included and do not create a second processing charge. In the cloud service, the maximum paid work will be reserved, then only delivered work will be charged. Canceling the confirmation starts no job. Today these are local estimates: there is no live balance or deduction.
Not if you cut first. A three-hour source trimmed to 10 retained timeline minutes uses 10 caption and transcription minutes when you choose Transcribe. If you transcribe the full three hours before trimming, it uses 180 minutes, and SlicePost warns you to trim first. Exports and rerenders are included either way.
Opening the clip, changing its timing, framing or captions, and rerendering it are included in the original AI source charge. Reuse its transcript without another transcription charge. Downloading the same render again is free; requesting fresh AI selection from a new source range is a new AI job.
Clipping counts completed analyzed source minutes only and rounds partial minutes down: a 59:45 source costs 59 credits. Caption and transcription minutes round up to the next tenth with a one-minute minimum per new transcription request. Failed work does not consume its allowance.
Clip count is an estimate, not a promise that every source contains enough distinct moments. The confirmation uses the source length and selected clip durations to show a realistic range before you spend credits. You pay only for analyzed source minutes, and we do not pad the batch with duplicate or weak moments to meet a quota.
If an AI job delivers no usable clip, the entire source reservation is released. A retry of our system failure does not charge the same source again. Once at least one usable clip is delivered, the analyzed source minutes are charged and the initial clip batch plus later AI-origin edits remain included. A successfully delivered standalone transcript still uses its minute allowance if a later included render fails.
Clip counts and quality are estimates because usable moments vary by source. SlicePost shows the expected range before confirmation and does not manufacture weak clips to hit a number. The final prelaunch quality-support policy still needs approval; technical failures remain separate and never create a duplicate charge.
Subscription credits roll over for one additional monthly cycle, capped at twice the monthly grant. Annual plans grant credits monthly too. Purchased packs keep their own 365-day expiry outside that cap. Use the credits expiring soonest first. Reservations and refunds do not extend expiry; support reviews credits that expired while a service issue was unresolved.
Within your storage allowance, sources are retained for up to 30 days and exports up to 90 days. Temporary proxies expire after seven days unless an active edit still needs them. More storage adds capacity, not permanent archival. Show expiry dates and send reminders before deletion. Removing a project frees its stored media after deletion completes; it does not refund completed processing.
No free hosted plan is proposed. The proposed trial is $1 for 3 days with 60 AI credits: enough to analyze one source up to 60 minutes, with up to 15 estimated clips depending on selected durations and usable moments. It converts to the selected paid plan after 3 days unless canceled. Final checkout terms, identity/payment abuse controls and cancellation timing must be shown clearly before payment. Checkout is not live yet.
