Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern SlicePost's website, hosted editing tools, API, and MCP integrations (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
The Service is operated by Noia Media LLC, based in Iowa, United States, under the SlicePost product name.
1. Accounts and access
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. If acting for an organization, you must have its authority. Keep account details accurate and protect credentials, API keys, and authorized applications. Report suspected unauthorized use to support@slicepost.com.
You may use SlicePost for lawful personal or commercial content work within your plan and permissions. This does not transfer ownership of SlicePost or permit reselling accounts or bypassing limits.
2. Your content and permissions
You keep the rights you hold in your media and projects. SlicePost does not claim ownership of uploads or grant rights to someone else's footage, music, voice, image, or trademarks. A public link is not permission to edit or publish.
Submitting content grants SlicePost the limited permission needed to host, copy, transcribe, analyze, edit, render, and deliver it, including sending necessary data to providers performing those tasks. Authorized posting includes delivery to the platforms you select. This permission supports the features you use, not selling your footage.
You must obtain the rights and consent required for uploads, processing, and publication, including permissions involving people in recordings where required. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless the Service is suitable for it and you have a lawful basis.
3. Review your output
Clip selection, transcription, captions, and framing can make mistakes. Review video, names, context, captions, and destination settings before publishing. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, views, earnings, reach, or acceptance by a platform or campaign. You remain responsible for publications.
4. Posting and integrations
Connecting accounts authorizes requested actions within the permissions granted. Hosted posting uses Post for Me and the destination platform. Supported options, availability, and timing depend on those services and their rules. A submitted request does not guarantee a live post; check final status.
When you use SlicePost's YouTube integration, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube posting uses YouTube API Services through Post for Me.
You can disconnect accounts or revoke API keys and delegated access. Review or cancel pending posts separately. Revocation does not remove published posts. External API and MCP clients can act within their permissions; protect credentials and review their actions.
Third-party services have their own terms. We do not control their outages, policy changes, restrictions, or moderation. Preparing clips for social platforms or Content Rewards campaigns does not imply an affiliation with them.
5. Purchases and allowances
If paid checkout is offered, it discloses price, currency, billing period, taxes, renewal, allowances, and any trial terms before purchase. Stripe handles payment. Recurring subscriptions renew at the disclosed interval until canceled.
Cancel through the billing controls provided for your purchase, or contact support@slicepost.com if you cannot access them. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Paid access normally continues to the paid term's end unless a refund, closure, or suspension changes it under the applicable terms.
Credits, minutes, storage, and posting allowances are service limits, not money. Reset, expiry, rollover, and add-on rules are disclosed with the plan or purchase. Successful processing can use an allowance even if you discard the result. Technical failure settlement is separate from a cash refund. Do not assume unlimited work or automatic overage purchases.
Contact support about billing errors or refund requests with your transaction reference. Refunds depend on applicable law and the disclosed purchase terms. Mandatory consumer withdrawal, cancellation, and refund rights remain intact; we do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule.
6. Project storage
Storage is limited by your account allowance. Project expiry and Save status appear in the application. Saving keeps a project within that allowance, not extra capacity. Unsaved or expired projects may be removed under the displayed retention policy. Removing Save can make an older project eligible for cleanup. Keep independent originals and exports; SlicePost is not a permanent archive or your only backup.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or break the law.
- Create or distribute child sexual abuse material, threats, unlawful exploitation, or other illegal content.
- Impersonate or deceive people, send spam, or evade platform rules.
- Access others' data, steal credentials, introduce malware, disrupt service, or bypass authorization, quotas, or security controls.
- Resell accounts or extract proprietary software except where law or an applicable open-source license permits it.
Report rights complaints to legal@slicepost.com with the material, rights at issue, and information needed to investigate. We may restrict access to disputed content as appropriate.
8. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security threats, unlawful use, material violations, or unpaid charges. Where practical and legally permitted, we explain the reason and offer a way to resolve it. Contact support if a restriction seems mistaken. You can stop using the Service and request deletion; cancel subscriptions and review pending posts as separate steps.
9. Availability and limitations
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or a particular business result. Features and integrations may change. Material changes to purchased service terms are disclosed as required by law.
To the extent permitted by law, SlicePost is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, reach, or data arising from use. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that law does not let us exclude.
10. Updates, disputes, and contact
We may update these terms. The date above identifies this version; material changes receive additional notice where required. Revised terms apply from their stated effective date, subject to applicable law.
Legal questions and disputes: legal@slicepost.com. Product and billing help: support@slicepost.com. Applicable mandatory law governs your rights. These terms do not impose an arbitration venue or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
